Tricia McHugh

Bio: I love life, relationships, writing, music, and video games. Music is an essential part of my well-being. I worked on Wall Street for 12 years as a Margin clerk. I've held positions in both the New Jersey and Pennsylvania school systems as a substitute teacher, paraprofessional, and teacher's aide. I've held the position of Merchandise Manager for the largest book retailer in the country. I've been a cashier, a Front Desk Medical Receptionist and an Administrative Assistant. I was a buyer and negotiated GSA contracts for a small business located in Coney Island. I am a writer at heart and I am currently writing my first novel. I also write poetry and short stories. I notice the finer details in life and I am compelled to write every day. I follow a path that is unique to me. Life is too short and way too precious to ignore a single day. I believe life is a gift from God and that we are all a unique history book waiting for its pages to be explored and treasured. I have five gorgeous grown children and consider parenting to be one of the greatest positions a person can hold in life. I welcome you to my blog and hope that you will enjoy the rich experiences I have to share. Walk with me as I walk with you down a road that can only be paved by putting one foot in front of the other.

  1. Hi Tricia. Your bio reminds me a bit of my own – a whirlwind of different jobs, life and faith that are intertwined journeys of daily discoveries, a compulsion to write that has followed each step you take and over and through it all, the joy and privilege that is parenting children you’ve nurtured to adulthood. I wish you well with writing your dragons. Julia
